As build up to the 2027 presidential election continues to gather momentum, a Pro-Tinubu group has announced Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as its national chairman.
The group under the auspices of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ethical Political Ideology Movement made the announcement in a press conference that was held in Abuja after a brief meeting with the Coordinators of the 36 States of the federation and the FCT.
According to the Director General of the group, Dr. Bridget Torbua Igbauke, the decision was reached after a rigorous painstaking consideration of several options.
“He has our complete and total support. We need him as the chairman of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ethical Political Ideology Movement. He deserves it, and he merits it.
“Indeed, he is the number one promoter of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ethical Political Ideology. The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Ethical Political Ideology is here to rescue Nigerian from the shackles of poverty and underdevelopment,” she stated.
Igbauke attributed the decison to chose Wike to largely because of his developmental strides in the transformation of the FCT into a Dubai of somesort.
