[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The organization has organized a symposium (discussion forum) on Nation Building for secondary school students in Abuja with the theme: ‘Self Building Key to Nation Building’ with the aim of creating a sense of awareness on national responsibility in the young minds.
The event, which had resource persons delivered papers, was well attended by dignitaries and participants drawn across different segments of the society.
The symposium was held in phases with phase 1 in AMAC/ACO Estate, Lugbe while the 2nd phase was held at Federal Housing Estate, Lugbe in November and December 2012 respectively.
The organization had in October 2009 held Orientation Programme for new secondary school intakes and Career Talks for senior secondary school students in Ogun State.
The organization was once working out a partnership with the Department Of Water And Environmental Health Services[WEHS] In Ifo Local Government Council of Ogun State with the aim to sensitize the market men and women on Environment Action & Protection organized by EFAC and OGEGEP of Ogun State Ministry of Environment in 2008.
In 2010/2011, the organization went from church to church and youth gatherings to give talks on the power of positive thinking and generational influence.
In 2013, the organization partnered with Eagle Eye Technology, an NGO to train youths on vocational and entrepreneurship.
In 2022, PIGO organized a sensitization seminar on Civic Rights and Responsibilities for some select secondary schools in Abuja. The objective of the seminar is to create awareness on the rights and obligations of citizens, teach positive values, right attitudes and behaviors that are acceptable to the society, with a view to making them responsible and functional members of the nation.
The theme of the Seminar is Responsible Citizenship for National Rebirth.
