Tinubu’s Aide, Abba Isa Reaffirms FG’s Commitment to Youth-Driven Initiatives Promoting Inclusion and Community Security

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has reiterated the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to promoting inclusive youth participation in national security and development.

The presidential aide also reassured the organisers of the Federal Government’s sustained support for youth-led initiatives that promote community security, inclusion, and equal opportunities across the country.

Hon. Abba Isa made this known through his Personal Technical Assistant, Comrade Sunday Arimokwu, who represented him at the unveiling of the 2026 National Youth Security Emblem organised by the Nigeria Youth Organisation.

In a goodwill message delivered at the event, the presidential aide commended the leadership of the Nigeria Youth Organisation for what he described as a timely and visionary initiative aimed at strengthening grassroots security consciousness among young Nigerians.

He observed that the theme of the programme, “Community Security: A Collective Responsibility of All Nigerian Youths,” resonates strongly with the prevailing security realities in the country.

According to him, safeguarding communities should not be perceived solely as the duty of government agencies, but as a shared responsibility requiring the active engagement, vigilance, and patriotism of the youth population.

Hon. Abba Isa emphasized that the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities remains firmly committed to the principle of leaving no one behind in national development and security efforts.

He stressed that young people, including persons with disabilities and those from vulnerable communities, must be deliberately included, empowered, and provided platforms to contribute meaningfully to building a safer and more inclusive Nigeria.

He further noted that Nigerian youths are not just leaders of tomorrow, but indispensable partners in nation-building today.

Their creativity, resilience, and innovative capacity, he said, are critical to fostering peaceful coexistence, strengthening national unity, and advancing sustainable development.

He congratulated the Nigeria Youth Organisation on the successful unveiling of the 2026 National Youth Security Emblem and expressed confidence that the initiative would make a positive contribution to national peace and social cohesion.

Hon. Abba Isa concluded by wishing the programme great success and praying for continued peace, unity, and progress in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
