The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has congratulated Dr. M. I. Jalo (FCVSN) on his election as Chairman of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Yobe State Chapter.

Dr. Jalo was elected during the association’s election held on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Presidency, Hon. Abba Isa described Dr. Jalo’s emergence as a reflection of the overwhelming confidence, trust, and mandate reposed in him by members of the association.

“I heartily congratulate you on behalf of the Presidency on your well-deserved election as Chairman of the NVMA, Yobe State Chapter. Your victory is a testimony to the confidence your colleagues have in your leadership capacity and commitment to service,” the statement read.
The presidential aide noted that Dr. Jalo has long been a strong comrade in civil society advocacy, recalling their shared history of activism and commitment to social development.

He further described the new NVMA Chairman as a steadfast advocate of inclusion and a champion of initiatives that promote the welfare of vulnerable groups.
Hon. Abba Isa expressed confidence that Dr. Jalo’s new position places him in a strategic role to advance policies and professional standards that will benefit not only veterinary practitioners but also vulnerable communities and humanity at large.

He prayed for divine guidance in the discharge of his duties.
“May Allah (SWT) grant you the wisdom, direction, and guidance to lead the NVMA Yobe State Chapter to greater progress, unity, and excellence,” he added.
The SSA reaffirmed his continued support for professionals and civil society leaders who are committed to national development, inclusion, and service to humanity.
