Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Mr David Anyaele on his well deserved appointment as the Chairman of the Abia State Disability Commission by His Excellency, Governor Alex Otti.
In a statement issued Saturday, Hon. Abba Isa noted that Mr Anyaele’s new role is a sure testament to his unwavering dedication, extensive experience, and profound commitment to advocating for the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities.
The SSAP stated that having previously served as the Special Assistant on Disability Matters to the governor, Anyaele’s invaluable contributions have undoubtedly paved the way for this well-deserved recognition, stressing that his leadership and vision will undoubtedly continue to drive significant progress in advancing the rights and opportunities for individuals with disabilities in Abia State.
The Senior presidential aide equally extended his warmest congratulations to Comrade Stanley Onyebuchi, the National President of the Nigeria Association of the Blind (NAB), on his appointment as a member of the Commission.
According to him, Comrade Onyebuchi’s steadfast dedication to social justice and his vital perspective on issues affecting persons with visual impairments will be instrumental in the Commission’s work.
“As you both embark on this new journey, I am confident that your combined efforts will create a more inclusive and equitable society for all. Please know that you have my full support and that of the Office of the President as you undertake these important responsibilities.
“Once again, congratulations on your appointments. I look forward to witnessing the positive impact that your leadership will bring to the Abia State Disability Commission,” the SSAP stated.
