The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has officially inaugurated the Technical Working Committee (TWC) tasked with planning the launch of a landmark book titled The New Nigeria – Compliment to the Game-Changer, dedicated to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
The inauguration took place during a brief ceremony held on Monday in the SSA’s office.

Hon. Abba Isa charged the committee to work diligently and collaboratively to ensure the success of what he described as a historic national event. He urged members to mobilize broad-based support, leverage their expertise and networks, and deliver an event befitting the book’s purpose and national significance.
The initiative is being championed by the International Christian Organisation for Sustainable Development (ICOSD) in partnership with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities (OSSAP-SNEO) as principal partner.

According to the SSA, the project aligns seamlessly with the vision and aspirations of the Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to reposition Nigeria through bold reforms and inclusive governance.

The 700-page book, authored by Dr. Joseph Aunde Vambe with a foreword by His Excellency, Senator Dr. George Akume, CON, chronicles the bold reforms, inclusive growth strategies, and decisive leadership of President Tinubu.

It provides a comprehensive and insightful account of Nigeria’s ongoing transformation, documenting key policy choices and strategic reforms driven by the President’s visionary leadership.

Addressing the committee, Hon. Abba Isa said members had been carefully selected and described their appointment as both an honour and a call to service. He emphasized that the committee must be strictly guided by the approved terms of reference as outlined in the implementation strategy and sponsorship plan, stressing that teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and dedication must define their engagement.

In his remarks, the Chairman, Board of Trustees of ICOSD and author of the book, Dr. Joseph Vambe, said the project was inspired by President Tinubu’s emergence and the reform agenda of his administration. He explained that ICOSD began documenting the administration’s activities from the President’s first day in office to demonstrate that Nigeria is already experiencing the emergence of a “New Nigeria.”

Dr. Vambe commended Hon. Abba Isa for his support and partnership, noting that the collaboration gave the project renewed momentum.

“We approached government institutions earlier, but our meeting with the SSA marked a turning point. From that day, he showed genuine interest and embraced this vision,” he said.
He added that the partnership aims to promote empowerment initiatives and advance the Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing confidence in Nigeria’s aspiration to become a trillion-dollar economy.

In his closing remarks, the Chairman of the Technical Working Committee, Mr. Emmanuel Afolabi, thanked the SSA for the warm reception accorded the committee. He assured that members would work within the established guidelines to ensure the success of the assignment and contribute to national development in line with President Tinubu’s vision.
“We assure you that we will not let you down. We will work according to the norms that established this committee, and our collective aim is to make Nigeria greater in line with the President’s vision,” Afolabi said.
