Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 presidential election, Mr Peter Obi, has been described as a pillar of democracy and hope of a new Nigeria on the horizon.
This was stated Tuesday in Abuja at a public presentation of a book written to extol the unparalleled qualities and virtues of the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Obi.
According to the book reviewer, Prof Okey Ikechukwu, Mr Obi is an embodiment of integrity, capacity, and foresightful leadership that all Nigerians yearning for change must rally around.
The book titled “Peter Obi: Many Voices, One Perspective” was authored and edited by Chinyere Stella Okunna, Valentine Obienyem, Daniel Onwukwe and Esin Onukwugha Osuji.
In his remarks Chairman of the occasion commends the authors for an excellent job.
He noted that the event was designed to achieve three main objectives which were to celebrate the man Peter Obi, formerly lauch the book and to raise sufficient funding for the cause of Obi presidency.
While giving his address, Mr Peter Obi specially thanked those who are part of the project and those who are part of the effort to change Nigeria.
Obi explained that he had to squeeze out time out of his tight schedule to grace the occasion as he was supposed to be in Yobe State to join the presidential campaign train.
He said: ” We need people, all of you to support us particularly in this final days of this exercise.
“Nigeria has suffered enough, Nigeria is a great country and we need to return it back to the path of greatness.
“If we get it wrong this time, it will affect all of us. We need the support of all of you to be part of the new Nigeria that you and I will be proud of.”
