The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the former President of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, describing him as a statesman whose contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey remain enduring.
In a statement issued by his Director of Media and Communications, Mr. Lanre Oloyede, Hon. Abba Isa hailed Senator Lawan as a seasoned legislator and committed patriot who has played a significant role in strengthening democratic governance and national unity
Hon. Abba Isa particularly commended the former Senate President’s dedication to public service, noting his consistent advocacy for the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities, as well as his steadfast representation of the interests of Yobe State at the national level.

He described Senator Lawan’s support for inclusivity and equal opportunities as exemplary and worthy of emulation.
According to the senior presidential aide, Senator Lawan, has demonstrated a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of his constituents, working diligently to address their concerns and promote sustainable development in Yobe State.
Hon. Abba Isa further described Senator Lawan as a distinguished legislator whose tenure as Senate President was marked by legislative maturity, institutional strengthening, and a calm, consultative leadership style that fostered national cohesion.
He added that Senator Lawan’s contributions to lawmaking, public policy, and statesmanship continue to inspire leaders across generations, stressing that his experience and counsel remain invaluable to Nigeria at a critical time in the nation’s development.
“As Senator Ahmad Lawan marks another year, we celebrate a life of service, integrity, and impactful leadership. His experience and counsel remain invaluable to the nation at a time when wisdom and patriotism are most needed,” Hon. Abba Isa stated.
He prayed for the former Senate President’s continued good health, strength, and wisdom, wishing him many more years of purposeful service to Nigeria and humanity.
